Rahmani-30: An Introduction

In the year 2008, Rahmani Foundation, Munger (Bihar) started an educational program namely Rahmani-30 under the supportive guidance of Mr. Abhayanand (ADGP, Bihar). This program is dedicated to support those meritorious students of the society who are deprived of achieving their educational aspirations due to poor economical condition. In Rahmani-30, students are provided free coaching along with lodging and food to compete for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) of India’s most prestigious engineering institution, Indian Institute of Technology.

With undue efforts of the faculty and the management, Rahmani-30 was able to see the glorious day of 25th May, 2009 when the result of IIT-JEE was declared. In its very first batch, all the ten students have been able to make themselves on the list of successful candidates. These students belong to extremely poor background comprising wards of landless farmers, daily wagers and other similar ones. It is a matter of utter shock and disbelief to most of them as their children are now going to be top technocrats. Rahmani Foundation

Rahmani-30 is the brainchild of Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Wali Rahmani who is the Hon’ble Chairman of Rahmani Foundation, Munger (Bihar). It was only his persuasion to Mr. Abhayanandji that brought him together in joining hands with Rahmani Foundation to start Rahmani-30. Over the years, Rahmani Foundation has made an impressive presence as a Non-governmental Organization with its expert working methodologies in the field of education, healthcare, social and cultural activities. Its work domain comprises:

• Rahmani Computer Center for various certificate and diploma courses
• NIOS Study Center for 10th & 12th
• NCPUL Study Center
• Rahmani Healthcare Center (Free Eye Camp is conducted here)
• Free Dispensary
• 202 Basic Education Centers
• 72 Centers for Hunar Scheme of HRD Ministry across 10 districts
• Worked on Sanitation and Cleaning Program

Under the efficient academic supervision of Mr. Abhayanandji, Rahmani-30 is enriched with expert and proficient teaching professionals. From this year on, besides ongoing one-year program for XII passed students, Rahmani Foundation has decided to run a separate batch of X passed students for another two-year Rahmani-30 program for IIT-JEE. The coaching classes of both of these programs for the current session have already been commenced.
